Shoot: Floor Painting at the Chancellery in Berlin
GP0STUSQP
Before today's top-level meeting between Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU), the Minister of the automobile states and the heads of the major German car manufacturers, Greenpeace activists demonstrate in front of the Federal Chancellery for a faster transport turnaround. "Get out of the combustion engine - climate protection now!" they demand next to a 50 square meter chalk painting. It shows a globe in flames, which is run over by an SUV. In mid-August, the German government's climate protection report documented the growing backlog of traffic in climate protection: for the first time, the CO2 share of traffic in total German emissions exceeded 20 percent.
