15 Greenpeace activists protests outside The Colosseum in Rome as part of the 'GetUpAnd' Day of Action. Greenpeace joins Climat21, Climate Action Network, Avaaz, 350.org and Friends of the Earth to demand an end to forest destruction and nuclear & fossil fuel energy. The ‘#GetUpAnd’ Global Day of Action calls on people around the world to give political and corporate leaders a ‘serious wake-up call’ so that they tackle the causes of climate change and champion a transition to renewable energy by 2050.
