"Go green" action took place in the center of Moscow, not far from Red Square. It is timed to coincide with the fact that on December 16, Greenpeace Russia sent a petition to the Russian government in support of the Green Deal program, which was signed by over 180 thousand people. In a document addressed to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Greenpeace Russia paid particular attention to the fact that warming in Russia is happening much faster than the average on the planet (especially in the Arctic zone).
Greenpeace Russia experts are convinced that with due attention of the authorities to the "Green Deal of Russia" program, it is possible to achieve zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. 

Акция «Переходим на зелёный» прошла в центре Москвы, недалеко от Красной площади. Она приурочена к тому, что 16 декабря российское отделение Гринпис направило в правительство России петицию в поддержку программы «Зелёный курс», которую подписало свыше 180 тысяч человек. В документе на имя премьер-министра Михаила Мишустина Гринпис обращает особое внимание на то, что в России потепление происходит значительно быстрее, чем в среднем на планете (особенно в Арктической зоне).
Эксперты Гринпис убеждены, что при должном внимании властей к программе «Зелёный курс России» можно добиться нулевых выбросов парниковых газов к 2050 году.
