“Plastic Free Now” Rainbow Warrior arrives in Hong Kong
From December 2017 to January 2018, Rainbow Warrior came to Hong Kong for spreading “Plastic Free Now” message and conducting microplastic research in Hong Kong waters.
Series of events happened during this ship tour, engaged thousands of Hong Kong people, alliances and government officers. This campaign is focusing on the fast food chain in Hong Kong, urging them to stop using single-use plastic, including cutlery, packaging, styrofoam and plastic bags.

Rainbow Warrior Plastics Free Tour in Hong Kong
From December 2017 to January 2018, Rainbow Warrior came to Hong Kong for spreading “Plastic Free Now” message and conducting microplastic research in Hong Kong waters.
A banner action was planned as a kick-off event for the ship tour to convey “Plastic Free Now” message on the landmark of Hong Kong. Unfortunately, we did not manage to unfurl the banner due to weather condition. Yet, we did raise the public discussion on plastic pollution in Hong Kong.
