Activists from Poland gathered at Pole Mokotowskie Park in Warsaw to draw attention of the European Commission to the alarming rate that valuable forests in the world are disappearing. The banner read "gone in 3.5 minutes" and referred to forests acreage equal to the area of Pole Mokotowskie park, which disappear in the world every 3.5 minutes.
