'Two Months of Injustice' Global Day of Solidarity in Prague
Greenpeace activists unfurl banners reading ‘Free The Arctic 30’ and ‘Save The Arctic’ behind the penalty bench at a Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) ice hockey game between the Gazprom sponsored teams, HC Lev Praha and Avangard Omsk at the Tipsport Arena in Prague.
Greenpeace demands that Gazprom, which is a Russian state-owned company, cease their high-risk oil exploration in the Arctic.
The protesters are also repeating demands for the release of the 28 Greenpeace International activists, as well as a freelance photographer and a freelance videographer currently in custody pending investigations into a peaceful Arctic oil protest.

'Two Months of Injustice' Global Day of Solidarity in Prague
At events across the world, thousands of people take part in a day of solidarity to mark two months since the Arctic 30 were detained following a peaceful protest against Arctic oil drilling. A Russian court has charged the Arctic 30 (twenty-eight Greenpeace International activists, as well as a freelance videographer and photographer) with both piracy and hooliganism.
