Brown Booby in Samoa
A brown booby ( Sula leucogaster ) hovers over Rose atoll, American Samoa. The Rose Atoll is a showcase of fully protected marine reserve and is already showing the recovery of marine life. Greenpeace is campaigning that similar fully protected marine reserves be established in four pocket of the Pacific ocean, so fish stocks and other critically endangered marine species can recover from destructive fishing.
