Quinnlan Hurley (18) inside a horse float on a field in Bateman's Bay after his family evacuated their home as bushfires threatened nearby Catalina on the New South Wales south coast. Despite his own circumstances, Quinnlan has been helping out staff at the local service station, the IGA supermarket and the Bateman's Bay relief centre since leaving his home on Saturday the 4th January.
