The Chang(e) Caravan, its a 15 days march for change by people and elephants rehabilitated by the Thai Elephant Research and Conservation Center is traversing Thailand’s Central Plains to tell the story of climate change impacts to communities, and to gather support for calling on world leaders, particularly United States President Obama, for an ambitious, fair and binding climate deal in Southeast Asia, and to make available necessary funds to protect Southeast Asia’s natural forests, to ensure the future of the region, its biodiversity and its people.
