Area of natural beauty within the concession area leased by Herakles Farms in the coastal rainforest of Cameroon. Despite lacking a Presidential Decree granting the concession, as required by Cameroonian law. The concession area is in a biodiversity hotspot, home to endangered species including forest elephants and chimpanzees, and it provides a crucial migration corridor for these animals between five protected areas.
