Displaced People after Floods in the Central African Republic
Nina Yaeke, 30 year-old mother of 8, used to live on the Monkey Island, midway between the Central African Republic and the Democratic Republic of Congo, on the Ubangi River. She completely lost her home to the water, and hopes to live in Bangui in the future, but she is scared more floods will happen in the coming years, and inundate the island again.
