Activists from Greenpeace Switzerland collect disposable masks in Zurich. Since the introduction of compulsory masks to combat the corona pandemic, pollution from disposable masks has increased massively in Switzerland. Zürich, 5. November 2020. Aktivist*innen von Greenpeace Schweiz sammeln Einwegmasken in Zürich. Seit der Einführung der Maskenpflich zur Bekämpfung der Corona-Pandemie hat die Verschmutzung durch Einwegmasken in der Schweiz massiv zugenommen. Diese Aktion fand statt im Rahmen der Kampagne, welche Unterstützung für die Produktion von mehrfach verwendbaren, zertifizierten Stoffmasken durch die Schweizer Regierung fordert. Damit soll das Littering und die Ressourcenverschwendung durch Einwegmasken gestoppt werden.
