Greenpeace activists join the "Energy Shift Now!" march of 5,000 people through Shibuya, Tokyo. The crowd is calling on the Japanese government to abandon nuclear technology and move to clean, renewable sources of power. Greenpeace is working to extend its radiation monitoring efforts outside the 20km mandatory evacuation zone around the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant, which to date have uncovered contaminated food and hot spots of radiation in high-density areas of Fukushima City, Koriyama City and other towns.
