Farmer in Pearl River Delta Region
A farmer, who uses the river next to Kingboard Industrial park to water her crops, speaks with a Greenpeace campaigner. She is unaware of the chemicals Kingboard is manufacturing or discharging. Resident farmers are concerned about the pollution found in the nearby streams discharging from the factory. The vegetables produced from this village are considered toxic by the local consumers and therefore the farmers have a hard time selling their produce.

A diverse range of hazardous chemicals were found, including high levels of heavy metals such as beryllium, copper and manganese.
