Fireworm - Azores Deep Sea Life
This fire worm, or Hermodice Carunculata, can grow up to 30 cm, as thick as a finger. It is also found in Mediterranean Sea and in the warmer parts of the Atlantic. This worm can sting you so don’t touch it! Greenpeace is in the Azores with a team of scientists to survey and document deep sea life.
