Fishermen on MY Arctic Sunrise in Greece
Emil Dukov, a fisherman from Bulgaria passes Greenpeace's CFP (Common Fisheries Policy) lantern on to Greek fishermen, Iannis (c) and Dimitros (R). The lantern is engraved with the message “To Enlighten Your Path Towards Sustainable Fishing In The EU’s CFP”. Greenpeace is on a European journey in support of sustainable fishing and to meet with local representatives from the growing movement. The lantern will travel with them as negotiations on the reform of the European Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) enter a final phase.
