Fukushima Fifth Anniversary in Tokyo

Greenpeace documented the 5th anniversary day of the Fukushima nuclear disaster in Tokyo. The "Peace on Earth", commemoration event in Tokyo for the 5th anniversary of Great East Japan Earthquake, tsunami and the Fukushima nuclear disaster was held in the Hibiya Park. Japanese public protest against the Japanese government's nuclear energy policies, and voice their opposition to the restarting of nuclear plants, in the streets near the Japanese Diet Building and Prime Minister's official residence, in Tokyo. The demonstrations have been ongoing since March 2012. 100,000 people affected by the nuclear accident are still evacuated from their homes because of radiation contamination from the crippled nuclear power plant.
