Action Against GE Papayas in Hawaii

Greenpeace activists, local farmers and Hawaiian coalition groups, all opposing the release of genetically engineered papaya, helped to decontaminate a local farm. The farmer has suffered losses due to contamination of his organic crop which can fetch up to three times the price of GE papaya but only if uncontaminated.
