Dicke Post für den US-Agrochemiemulti Monsanto: Greenpeace-AktivistInnen haben heute in Coop-Läden der ganzen Schweiz unzählige Polenta-Packungen behändigt und sie vor der Zürcher Coop-Filiale Bahnhofbrücke in ein riesiges Paket mit der Aufschrift «Attention: Illegal Genetically Modified Maize! Back to producer: Monsanto Co., Argentina» gefüllt. Die Coop-Polenta aus Argentinien ist mit illegalem GA 21-Gentech-Mais von Monsanto kontaminiert. Dieser Mais darf in der Schweiz und in der EU nicht verkauft und in Argentinien nicht angebaut werden.

In Argentina it is prohibited to grow the maize, and selling this maize is prohibited in Switzerland and the EU.
