The Greenpeace education team presents educational materials and the "School for Earth" project at the Didacta Cologne 2022. The highlight is an augmented reality learning app that can be tested at the trade fair stand.
The newly developed augmented reality (AR) application "Tracking Biodiversity" brings the world direct into the classroom and provides students with a special learning experience. Using a tablet or smartphone, students can experience living environments that would otherwise be impossible. They can walk through the Amazon rainforest, be inside an ant burrow or immerse themselves in the underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef. The Greenpeace learning app combines digitality with education for sustainable development.

Die neu entwickelte Augmented-Reality (AR)- Anwendung „Der Artenvielfalt auf der Spur“ holt die Welt ins Klassenzimmer und ermöglicht Schüler:innen eine besondere Lernerfahrung. Mit Tablet oder Smartphone können Schüler:innen Lebenswelten erleben, die sonst nicht erlebbar wären: durch den Amazonas Regenwald, hinein in einen Ameisenbau oder eintauchen in die Unterwasserwelt des Great Barrier Reef. Die Greenpeace Lern-App verbindet Digitalität mit einer Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung.
