Iceberg in the Arctic
View from above an Iceberg waiting to be towed by Cairn Energy tug boats. The Berg is approximately 20 miles from the Cairn Stena Forth drill ship. A huge logistical operation is performed to drag icebergs away from the drilling area. Any icebergs that come within 25kms of the drilling platforms are hosed down to melt them or are dragged away. Cairn have eight vessels working on this full time but more and more icebergs appear on the horizon in what is commonly known as 'Iceberg Alley'.

Esperanza Go Beyond Oil Expedition
Greenpeace 'Go Beyond Oil' ship tour, exposes and confronts the oil industry's race to develop deep sea drilling for oil in order to avoid environmental disasters like the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Companies like BP are taking massive risks to drill in ever more dangerous places rather than investing in clean energy to stop climate change.
