Four presidential candidates responded to the letters from 14,617 Korean students. Nearly 15,000 elementary school students sent their handwritten letters to the presidential candidates running for the upcoming election in Korea in December of 2021. Greenpeace Seoul office and children demanded to presidential candidates reply to the letter, urging their commitment to strong climate policy. As a response to these letters, all presidential candidates sent their replies, promising that they will create real changes with quick and solid climate-focused plans.
