Ami Tanauna is chairman and elder of the tuna fishing community Ueen Te Rooti in Betio, on Tarawa Island. He is 55 years old and has lived on the island his whole life. Ami spent 20 years as a tuna fisherman.
Greenpeace are in Tarawa to document the challenges the people of Kiribati are facing towards their livelihood and survival, from climate change and overfishing.
