Mushrooms are being sold at the local market. In Rivenska Oblast, levels of radioactive particles in the food and especially milk is on average two times higher as the Ukrainian maximum allowed levels.
Radioactive particles accumulate in the forest in particular where mushrooms are being picked by local people and sold on the markets.
