Greenpeace Switzerland places banners shaped as protective masks on several buildings including the Federal Palace, Matterhorn and Chapel Bridge, at the open-air miniature park “Swissminiatur” in Melide, Ticino. The mini banners bear the message "Environmental protection in the pandemic”, in various languages. The activity is to support a petition calling on the Federal Council to promote the production of reusable fabric masks that meet security requirements. 

Maskiertes Bundeshaus, Matterhorn und Kapellbrücke? Damit macht Greenpeace Schweiz im Tessiner Museum Swissminiature in Melide auf die Petition «Umweltschutz in der Pandemie» aufmerksam. Diese fordert den Bundesrat auf, die Produktion von wiederverwendbaren Stoffmasken zu fördern, die seinen Sicherheitsvorgaben entsprechenden.
