A sushi stall booth is set up in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, with a well-trained waiter offering “plastic” sushi to customers to raise awareness on micropastics, found in the environment and in many sea species.
Over 600 customers have been informed about the campaign and the issue of microplastic contamination in seafood. Microbeads are used in the manufacture of cosmetics and personal care products and are among the sources of plastic marine pollution.
