Nuclear Action Tasman Flotilla in Australia
Hundreds of well wishers write good will messages on the sails of the yachts in the Tasman flotilla at the wharf at Opua, New Zealand as the yacht "Nanu" prepares to set sail. Nanu is one of seven yachts from Australia and New Zealand that will sail into the North West Tasman Sea to protest against the use of the Pacific Ocean as a nuclear highway for plutonium shipments. The banner on the boats side is saying "Stop Plutonium Shipments".

The Greenpeace ship "Tiama" and other boats sail to the North-West Tasman Sea where they protest the use of the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean as a nuclear highway for plutonium ships, such as the Pacific Pintail which is carrying MOX fuel to Japan. The flotilla is made up of seven yachts from Australia and New Zealand.
