Nuclear Emergency Camp in Busan
Greenpeace activists from Korea, Indonesia, Taiwan and the United States are escorted by Korean police after a three day protest at the iconic Gwangandaegyo Bridge (also called Gwangan Daero) concluded peacefully. The activists are demanding the Korean government expand its nuclear evacuation zone to thirty kilometers. Millions of Koreans live inside a thirty kilometer radius of a nuclear power plant.

The Greenpeace ship Rainbow Warrior is in South Korea on a 'Nuclear Emergency Tour' with the aim of demanding proper nuclear emergency plans.
During the tour, the activists carry out protests on the iconic Gwangandaegyo Bridge (also called Gwangan Daero) and at the Kori nuclear power plant, calling for nuclear energy phase out starting with the Kori 1 reactor, the oldest nuclear facility in the country.
