Forests in the Papuan area of Kaureh, Jayapura. The area is rich in primary forest, home to birds of paradise, palm cockatoos and indigenous Papuan communities. The forest is threatened by the palm oil concession owned by PT Megasurya Mas (PT MSM) and PT Siringo-Ringo (PT SRR) a subsidiary to Musim Mas group, a palm oil supplier to Procter and Gamble in Kaureh sub-district, Jayapura district, Papua province.
