The truck left North West of France this morning, and headed to the storage center Soulaines in the Aube. A few days ago, activists had already painted over a train containing reprocessed uranium in Vierzon train station to denounce the radioactive convoys that regularly travel across France. The Nuclear Safety Authority has listed 19,000 radioactive convoys per year, directly attributable to the electro-nuclear industry. Locations:France-Paris-Western EuropeDate:17 Jun, 2019Credit:© Jérémie Jung / GreenpeaceMaximum size:5616px X 3744pxKeywords:Actions and protests-Banners-Day-Flares (pyrotechnic)-Greenpeace activists-KWCI (GPI)-Motorways-Nuclear (campaign title)-Nuclear energy symbol-Nuclear waste-Nuclear waste transports-Orange (colour)-Outdoors-Painting actions-Photo opportunities (action tactic)-Small group of people-TrucksShoot:Painting Action on a Nuclear Waste Truck in FranceA truck carrying radioactive waste was tagged by Greenpeace activists on the highway, not far from Paris.
