Paula Bear Visits the Beehive
A Greenpeace polar bear (aka Paula Bear) in front of the Beehive parliamentary building in Wellington. The bear is a warning that climate change affects us all and that urgent action is needed. Since 2008 the John Key government has ignored the issue of climate change and current policies show the blinkers are still firmly in place.

Polar Bear Sightseeing in Wellington
A Greenpeace polar bear (aka Paula Bear) in Wellington. The bear is in New Zealand to say that what's happening in the Arctic isn't staying in the Arctic. She's a warning that the impacts of climate change are being felt around the world. A polar bear in NZ is a sign that things aren't right. People are being asked to sign the Greenpeace petition to Save the Arctic in support of declaring a global sanctuary at the top of the world. More than 5 million people around the world have already added their support.
