Fuer die schnelle und konsequente Umsetzung des Pariser Klimaabkommens durch die G20-Staaten demonstrieren Greenpeace-Aktivisten heute mit dem Greenpeace-Schiff, der Beluga II, auf der Elbe mit einem aufblasbaren Erdball mit der Aufschrift "Planet Earth First" und einem Banner mit der Forderung "Time for a Change".
„Die anderen G20-Chefs koennen nicht darauf warten, bis Donald Trump erwachsen wird“, sagt Greenpeace-Klimaexperte Karsten Smid. „Die G19 muessen zeigen, dass sie wie in Paris beschlossen, tatsaechlich aus Kohle, Oel und Gas aussteigen.“ Trump hat Anfang Juni den Ausstieg der USA aus dem Pariser Abkommen verkuendet.
