Greenpeace activists block the coal ship ‘Paquis’ from entering the Eemshaven. The ship arrives to unload coal from Russia for the largest coal-fired power plant in the Netherlands. Joris Thijssen, director of Greenpeace Netherlands is one of the climbers hanging from the rope. The photos he made show an unusual perpective of the action.The rope is streched above the water between two wind turbines on either side of the harbour.
