Rainbow Warrior Open Boat in Busan
The Greenpeace ship Rainbow Warrior is in Busan, the second largest city in South Korea. The visit is part of Greenpeace’s campaign to push the Korean government to change its energy policy.
The government is planning to build two more reactors at the Kori Nuclear Power Plant, the world’s largest nuclear power plant complex, located between Busan and Ulsan. The plant already has six reactors and there are around 3.4 million people living within the 30km zone around the plant. The Rainbow Warrior is open to the public during its visit to Busan.
