Crew members retrieve a H.A.R.P., or High-Frequency Acoustic Recorder Package, as it is brought to the surface from aboard the Greenpeace ship, Arctic Sunrise, after it collected data for a year in the Pacific Ocean, about 150 nautical miles off the Southern California coast. The Arctic Sunrise is assisting in scientific research into ocean noise and micro plastics pollution during the San Diego, California to Long Beach, California leg of its current voyage.
