Sediment Sampling near an Abandoned Wellhead in the North Sea

Crew on the Esperanza land the ROV (ROUV, Remotely operated underwater vehicle) on the deck after a mission on the Seabed of the North Sea. The vehicle collected suspectedly contaminated sediment sample taken in the area of an abandoned wellhead. The wellhead was found in the UK waters of the North Sea on position 58°47.852042'N, 001°08.066162'E. The samples are secured for further investigation.

Die Besatzung auf der Esperanza holen das ROV (ROUV, ferngesteuertes Unterwasserfahrzeug) nach einem Einsatz am Meeresboden der Nordsee zurück an Deck. Das Fahrzeug kehrt mit mutmaßlich kontaminierten Sedimentproben zurück, die in der Nähe eines verlassenen Bohrlochkopfes entnommen wurden. Der Bohrlochkopf wurde in den britischen Gewässern der Nordsee auf Position 58°47.852042'N, 001°08.066162'E gefunden. Die Proben wurden für weitere Untersuchungen gesichert.
