Solidarity Protest for Turkey in Alaska

Greenpeace activists Mike Herbert, Harmony Lambert, Joshua Ingram, Hope Kaye, Amber Smith stand in solidarity with those demanding the protection of the Gezi Park in Turkey and an end to the police brutality and all violence. Greenpeace condemns the brutal police clampdown on the peaceful Gezi Park protest. What started as a simple peaceful protest against the destruction of an iconic, and historic, park has grown into a wider struggle for Turkish democracy. A question of whether the country puts people and natural environment before commerce and profit.
