Sustainable Pole and Line Fisherman
Revam Choten, 21, born in Waibalun village. Started fishing in 5th grade at the age of 12. He likes the knowledge, experience, and making new friends onboard. He talked about ghost boats and urban legends. Small boats would appear and then suddenly disappear. He once saw a large boat "appeared from afar and pass through their boat, but then when you looked back, there was nothing. Becoming a fishermen makes you grow up quickly, it turns you into a man". Next year he plans to study fisheries in college in Ende, Kupang.
