Tianjin Resident after Chemical Explosion in China
Mr Song holds up a piece of shattered glass. The night of the explosion, he was attending a training conference, but his father was at his apartment. “I rushed back as quickly as I could and looked for my father. He’d run out of the apartment so quickly he didn’t have time to remove his shoes. His feet were cut by the glass”.
A chemical warehouse explosion in Binhai New District, Tianjin on August 12 destroyed thousands of houses and claimed the lives of over 100 people.
