Greenpeace activists deliver nearly 500 kg of electronic waste, sourced from unauthorized recycling yards in Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai, to the corporate headquarters of Wipro in Bangalore.
Greenpeace is calling upon Wipro to take the lead in shifting to clean production by phasing out deadly toxic chemicals from its products, replacing them with safe alternatives and accepting extended producer responsibility for all its products till the end of their life-cycle.
