Toxics Action at Leatherhead in UK
100 Greenpeace volunteers peacefully block the entrance and display a banner on the roof of the Esso company's huge UK headquarters in Surrey. Throughout the United kingdom Greenpeace seriously disrupts the operation of 100 Esso petrol stations, in response to the company's campaign to keep the US hooked on oil, which is contributing to global warming and fueling war in Iraq. In the image, a shot of some of the Greenpeace activists who took part in the action. In the background, some anti-Esso and anti-Bush banners.
