The Paris Administrative court acknowledged the French State's responsibility in the climate crisis. It also recognized that it was illegal for the State not to respect its commitments in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It also recognized that it was illegal for the State not to respect its commitments in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
