Over 30 representatives from local and international supermarkets have joined, including PX mart (全聯), Carrefour Taiwan (家樂福), and 7-Eleven (統一超商). Many initiatives were discussed such as providing beverages, rice, household cleaning liquid with reusables containers and selling fresh vegetables in bulk.A research conducted by Greenpeace Taiwan in collaboration with National Cheng Kung University (成功大學) showed that the environmental benefit is high if the retail sector in Taiwan actively adopts the refill and reuse method.
