With a carnival float, Greenpeace activists protest on Rose Monday 2021 in front of Cologne Cathedral against the lignite plans of NRW Prime Minister and CDU leader Armin Laschet. On the float of the well-known Rhineland float builder Jaques Tilly, Laschet can be seen wearing a carnival hat as the driver of a bucket-wheel excavator demolishing a church. The carnival hat reads "Trotz Corona - Jeck wie eh und Jeh", on. On the float is the slogan: "CDU: Heimat zerstört, Kohle Alaaf!".
