Portrait of Victor Pineiro, a long distance ocean swimmer and Greenpeace supporter. In his 10+ years swimming in oceans all around the world, he has seen the magnificent sea and marine life slowly disappearing, and instead being replaced by plastic waste in the waters and washing up on coastlines.
Victor is swimming to raise awareness about plastic pollution in our oceans, and calling on big polluters to stop producing single-use plastics and move to a reuse and re-fill model.
