Demonstration in Berlin for Germany to Join the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons
One day before the United Nations Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, TPNW, enters into force, Greenpeace activists demonstrate in favor of Germany joining the treaty. With an oversized version of the treaty, they protest in front of the German Foreign Office and call on the responsible German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas (SPD) to sign the agreement. The treaty is depicted on three 1.70 meter by 1.25 meter boards, the three activists symbolically bring a 1.20 meter pen for the signature.
