In response to the government's announcement on the Hinkley deal campaigners hand in a petition signed by over 360,000 people, including 230,000 Greenpeace supporters plus 130,000 from 38 Degrees and Stop Hinkley urging the government not to waste billions of pounds building Hinkley Point nuclear plant, but to invest in renewable energy instead.
