Action during WTO Meeting in Mexico
Activists from the Greenpeace ship MV Arctic Sunrise are chained to the anchor chain of the MV Ikan Altamira which is carrying 40.000 t of US GMO contaminated maize/corn. This is a response to fresh evidence that the US was dumping genetically engineered crops across the border contradicting international agreements, the action is held during the 5th Ministerial meeting of the WTO is currently being held in Cancun. The banner says "Stop forced trade" and the sign above shows a corn on the cob crossed out.
