'Oil Free Seas' Flotilla at Tasman Sea Drill Site
The Greenpeace sponsored SV Vega off to the stern of the Noble Bob Douglas drilling ship on the site where oil giant Anadarko intends to start exploratory drilling for deep sea oil. The drill site is over 100 nautical miles off Raglan, on the west coast of New Zealand, and in waters around a kilometre and a half deep.
