Action at Statoil's Apollo Prospect Drillsite in the Barents Sea
After 48 hours of occupying the Statoil commissioned rig, activists Sini Saarela and Rosa Gierens are removed by police climbers.
Greenpeace International activists from eight countries have scaled and occupied Statoil contracted oil rig Transocean Spitsbergen to protest the company's plans to drill the northernmost well in the Norwegian Arctic at the Apollo Prospect of the Barents Sea, close to the Bear Island nature reserve.
